Lesson Program

  • Day 1

    After having a brief phone call with our operations coordinator, you will then be paired to a licensed instructor that best suits your needs. You will spend your first session one on one, touring the barn, going over goals and an have an evaluation ride to asses your level of riding and horse knowledge. After this session, we will then schedule you into our lesson program. We welcome all levels of riders, starting at the age of 7.

    Our lesson program consists of private and semi private lessons. We believe with more one on one time, it allows you to get the most out of your lesson and get the proper attention. At The Carlyle , we ride both english and western, so the choice is yours! Each student will be given the tools to achieve their goals and progress.

Meet our lesson horses

  • Chip

    Meet Chip, a Quarter Horse gelding. Chip stands at 16.1hh and loves ear scratches and neck rubs. Chip is a great all around horse doing both english and western.

    Favorite Snack: Carrots. ALL the carrots.

  • Stella

    Meet our girl Stella, a Quarter Horse mare. She is super sweet and LOVES attention. She stands at 16hh and has the smoothest canter! She also loves groundwork!

    Favorite Snack: Peppermints

  • Junior

    Meet Junior, our Percheron x QH gelding. Junior is five years old and LOVES snacks. Junior is very easy going and relaxed. He currently stands at 15.2hh and is still growing!

    Favorite Snack: German Stud Muffins & Apples
